Please accept or decline these Terms and Conditions of Personal Data Handling for the Registration in the 4th Cha-Ching Educators’ Conference on Financial Literacy
Personal Information to be Collected
The following information about the registrant and his/her employer will be gathered:
·Personal data of registrant (name, mobile number, email address, designation)
·Employer information (school’s name, contact number, principal’s name, contact number, email address)
Purpose of Personal Data Gathering
Information about registering participants will be gathered to keep a record of conference attendees and to verify the identity and participation eligibility of registrants. The information will be used by the conference secretariat to determine the set of provisions (flight, accommodation, transportation reimbursement) to be provided per school representative, which will be based on their area of origin.
Method of Personal Data Processing
Personal data will be collected and processed using an online registration form through the website of Knowledge Community, Inc. The online registration form will be disabled by November 30, 2017. The soft and hard copies of the database will be downloaded and turned over to Pru Life U.K. Knowledge Community, Inc. and stored by Pru Life U.K. offline.
Scope of Personal Data Processing
The personal data to be collected from registering participants will be used solely for the declared purpose above. Apart from Pru Life UK and Knowledge Community, the personal data collected will not be obtained or handled by any other party.
Identity and Contact details of Personal Data Processors Operating on behalf of Pru Life UK
Knowledge Community is a non-stock, non-profit organization duly organized and existing under Philippine laws based. They offer expertise in program and conference management, research, training workshops, and advocacy campaigns in the fields of education, local governance, and social entrepreneurship. Knowledge Community has been a partner of Pru Life UK in the implementation of the Cha-Ching Program since 2012. For inquiries, please contact Ms. Cecilia Ubarra at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Period of Personal Data Retention
From the date of registration, personal data submitted by participants will be kept by Knowledge Community until November 30, 2017, for post-event matters such as gathering participant feedback and mailing of certificates. After which, all data submitted will be properly disposed of, following the procedure declared above.
Rights of the Data Subjects
Republic Act No. 10173, also known as the Data Republic Act of 2012, states that personal information of data subjects must not be collected, processed, and stored by any organization without explicit consent. Data subjects are entitled to file complaints against organizations that violate their data privacy rights. Organizations are bound to observe the privacy rights of data subjects and will be prosecuted by the law should they misuse, maliciously disclose, or improperly dispose of personal information obtained from data subjects.
Pre-conference Training Seminar
The overall goal of the school project proposal competition is to encourage schools to present strategies on how they can champion and actively promote financial literacy within their respective schools and possibly in nearby communities with the participation of teachers, students, parents, and community officials.
The overall goal of the lesson plan competition is to provide an opportunity for teachers to share their knowledge and expertise in preparing an effective lesson plan that features the four money smart concepts of the Cha-Ching Money Smart Kids Program of earn, save, spend and donate.
